Get in touch with your child's name, age and your childcare requirements to see if there's space available - contact me here;
If there's space, we will meet up so you can get to know me a little, see my home and possibly meet some other children in my care - I'll provide you with some details of my service;
If you're happy to proceed, we will arrange some settling in sessions - usually 3 for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers (non-nursery attendees) and 2 for nursery and school goers but we can arrange additional sessions. I'll also get you to complete a Personal Care Plan booklet with your child before our first session;
Setting In sessions - for the first session, I'll give you the Welcome Pack with all required paperwork, contracts, registration forms etc to complete - you can either hang back to complete this within my service and be here to reassure your child or you can head off and complete it ready to bring back on collection - it's entirely up to you and what's best for your child - some need reassurance, others are confident and happy enough to be left straight away.
After settling in sessions are complete, as long as you're happy, you're child is happy and I have no issues or concerns moving forward - we will finalise the care contract, confirm an official starting date and arrange the deposit to be paid to secure the space. The deposit will be 2 weeks standard fees based on your requirements - to a maximum of £200. This will be deducted off your final invoice when your child leaves my care. If you do not use the space, cancel or leave within the first 4 weeks - this deposit is non-refundable. This is to cover the possibility that by reserving your space, I may have prevented another family using it. We will then organise your first invoice to be paid in time for your child to join us fully. If I need to keep a space empty for a period of time before you are ready to use it, you will be charged a non-refundable retainer fee of 50% of contracted fees to cover the space whilst remaining empty ready for your child.
